How it works

    Choose your fields

    Select a sample tag, then check the writable room fields you want Quick Room to fill. Settings stay in your Revit project.

  2. 02

    Save room profiles

    Create profiles for offices, bathrooms, hotel rooms, or any repeated room type. Profiles are available across projects for your Windows user.

  3. 03

    Click in the plan

    In a floor plan, click a room. Quick Room updates the room, or places a room and tag when an enclosed area has none.

One click, one Undo
Everything a click changes is a single Revit transaction, so one Undo reverses it.
Rooms and tags
Finds the tag or room at the point you click. New tags use your saved tag type, and existing tags are not duplicated.
Tag type control
Choose whether a selected tag changes to the saved type or keeps its current type.
Explicit field mapping
Fields reused from another project are mapped by you. Names alone are never matched.
Other views
Outside floor plans, Quick Room only works with existing rooms and tags. It does not add new ones.
Worksharing
If another user owns a room or tag, Quick Room tells you before the operation.

Your model stays on your computer

Rooms, tags, parameters, and profiles are processed locally. Your Revit models are not sent to the licensing service, and the add-in sends no analytics or automatic error reports.
